Dental Cleaning in Geneva

A professional dental cleaning does more than refresh your smile. Our dental hygienists remove plaque, tartar and surface stains, assess your oral health and help you care for your teeth and gums.

Why have regular dental cleanings?

Brushing at home cannot always remove every deposit. Tartar can build up around the teeth and gums, making daily cleaning harder. Regular visits help maintain oral health, reduce plaque and support the prevention of gum problems and bad breath. Your hygienist will recommend an interval suited to your needs; many patients book approximately every six months.

  • Remove hardened deposits and surface stains.
  • Keep teeth feeling smoother and cleaner.
  • Monitor gum health and receive tailored advice.
  • Support long-term oral hygiene between appointments.

How your appointment works

At Whitening Artists Geneva, we use modern techniques including the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) approach and Airflow® polishing. Your care is adapted to your oral health and comfort.

  1. Assessment: we look at your teeth and gums and identify areas requiring attention.
  2. Biofilm disclosure: a disclosing agent helps reveal plaque so cleaning can be more targeted.
  3. Personal advice: we explain brushing and interdental cleaning techniques suited to you.
  4. Airflow®: we gently remove biofilm and surface stains.
  5. Scaling: remaining tartar is removed using appropriate instruments.
  6. Final check: we review the result and discuss your next visit.
